DRC will host FADAM in 2023!
The Organizing Committee of FADAM revealed the host country of the next edition
After a first edition that marked the spirits in Cameroon in 2018, and a break related to the covid pandemic, FADAM will return in 2023, this time in
Congolese soil, under the high patronage of the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The official announcement took place this Thursday, November 10, during a press conference at the Fleuve Congo Hotel in Kinshasa.
The FADAM 2023 will welcome 5000 athletes from more than 30 disciplines, and 1000 artists from 60 countries.
The festival will take place over 8 days, from May 27 to June 3, 2023, including an opening ceremony, 5 days of competition and a closing ceremony.
Because of its size and its ability to federate all martial arts disciplines in their diversity, FADAM is the only World Martial Arts Open.
Like the previous edition, the festival will include side events such as a cultural village that will promote the 26 provinces of the DRC, conferences for youth and an international forum for investors.
This year's event will again benefit from the support of personalities such as Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and other great world champions.
